About Rana

Rana Ismail – My Story

Rana Ismail is a highly intelligent, enthusiastic, and versatile Recruiter at Griffin Resources. She provides her expertise in a variety of HR functional areas including administrative process changes, recruiting, training, HR audits and compliance. Passionate at being a part of a collaborative team and finding creative strategies in developing and building team growth.

Rana was born in Cairo, Egypt, but raised in Central Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Political Science from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. During college she had the privilege to study abroad in Barcelona, Spain where she studied international business and marketing. Her international background allowed her to develop a unique international perspective and ability to connect with people which enhanced her adaptability and versatility- essential qualities to have when navigating the world of HR.

Prior to Griffin Resources, Rana worked in the healthcare industry as a Hiring Manager and Recruiter. It was there that she cultivated her exceptional leadership and communication skills. Rana supported the Talent Acquisition team by sourcing candidates, researching new recruitment channels, prescreening candidates, and coordinating interviews.

When not working, Rana enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. As a resident in the Tampa area, Rana loves to attend local events within her community and explore the amazing dining and recreational outlets of this unique city.
