Michelle Griffin – My Story
Michelle Griffin founded Griffin Resources in 2019 after a 10-year career in Human Resources serving as the Head of Human Resources at ConnectWise and the Human Resources Director for Homes by WestBay. Consulting with small to mid-size organizations allows Michelle and the Griffin Resources team to share their talents to help with development, recruitment and job fit analysis, custom design training, career-pathing and succession planning, the custom annual review process, federal and local compliance, and benefits administration.
Michelle was born in Anchorage, AK, and moved to Tampa, FL, with her family in high school. She remained local to the Tampa Bay area and attended The University of Tampa where she majored in Psychology and minored in Marketing. Michelle went on to earn a Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and is currently a Ph.D. candidate seeking a doctoral degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University.
As an enthusiast for HR and education, she volunteers on the Board of Directors for HR Tampa in the area of College Relations to provide education and resources to business and HR students.

Michelle and James met at homecoming at The University of Tampa in 2002 and were married in September 2007.
