Nickie Collins – My Story
Nickie Collins was born and raised in Bethesda, Maryland, and attended American Public University where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She began her career in HR operations as an HR Assistant and Generalist before transitioning into talent acquisition, which has defined the last 15 years of her professional journey. Nickie is motivated by the belief that the right hire is a vital investment that changes the trajectory of a team and an organization.
Throughout her career, Nickie has specialized in recruiting for high-volume and high-stakes environments where there is little margin for error. As part of a Marine Corps family, she has lived in Japan and the Philippines, experiences that helped her develop a global perspective and a high level of adaptability. Currently, Nickie resides in Florida with her husband, two sons and daughter. Outside of her recruitment work, she channels her love for discovery into her luxury travel advisory, Curated by Collins, where she helps families plan purposeful adventures. She enjoys exploring new destinations and spending quality time with her family.
