I was born and raised in Miami, FL. My family and I moved to the Ocala, FL area when my children were toddlers. I very much enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom for almost 10 years. Going to different beaches, doing art and science projects, swimming in the pool and catching butterflies were some of my favorite things to do with the kids. My hobbies, aside from going to the beach, are photography, training my dogs Ella and Thaddeus, adding fish and plants to my aquariums and growing orchids.
When I resumed my career, I joined Culligan Water as the Human Resources and Payroll Administrator. Two years later I joined ABCO Transportation as the Driver Settlement Supervisor and was later promoted to Asset Payroll Manager. Prior to being a stay-at-home mom, I was the Payroll Supervisor at GT Law for nine years and had the privilege of working under a fabulous mentor, Fran Wylde, Director of Accounting.

Becoming a payroll professional was something that just sort of happened. I was working in the banking industry and transitioned to a position as the Assistant to the CFO, where one of my responsibilities was to process the payroll for the bank employees. From that point forward I developed a passion for payroll and began learning all I could about payroll processing, payroll taxes, and compliance. I’ve processed and/or managed payrolls varying in size from 25 to 1200 employees, across multiple states/localities and for varying industries such as banking, aircraft parts manufacturing, bar/restaurant, legal, water purifying/bottling and sales, and most recently, the trucking industry. I take pride in leading a strong team that is fully cross-trained and ready for anything that may come our way. Paying people accurately and on time creates trust between the employee and the employer. Getting paid is the reason people come to work and why payday is a happy day. I am dedicated to ensuring people are paid accurately and on time, every time!
