Kayla Friedman – My Story
Kayla was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and now lives in South Florida with her husband, children, and their beloved cats. She began her HR career more than 13 years ago, working across multiple industries—including PEO and consulting environments—where she developed a strong understanding of complex HR operations and employee support.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from LIU Post, a degree that shaped her passion for understanding people and building healthy, effective workplaces.
As an HR professional, Kayla takes pride in fostering meaningful relationships with both senior leadership and employees. Her open-door philosophy helps others feel heard, valued, and supported.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, being near the water, and exploring her love for animals and music. She has also achieved several notable accomplishments in singing.
